My name is Martin Vassilev and I am a designer working at the intersection of product design, graphic design, fine art, and mechanical precision. With a background rooted in drawing, painting, and spatial thinking, my work explores geometry, proportion, and restraint as tools for creating timeless objects. Through my watch designs, I approach timepieces not merely as instruments, but as sculptural artifacts where art, engineering, and disciplined minimalism converge.
My Story
I began with a pencil and paper, learning to see the world through lines, balance, and proportion. Painting, drawing, and making trained my eye to value restraint as much as expression, and to understand that the strongest ideas are often the simplest ones.
Over time, this way of thinking evolved into product design. I became drawn to objects that carry purpose and permanence—objects shaped by geometry, mechanics, and intention. Watchmaking emerged naturally from this path: a discipline where art and engineering meet, and where every detail matters.
My work is a quiet pursuit of clarity. I design timepieces not to follow trends, but to create forms that endure—measured, precise, and deeply considered.
